1965: The Supremes scored their fifth consecutive US No.1 hit when their single 'Back In My Arms Again' topped the charts. The Supremes were the first American group that accomplished this.

1966: Pink Floyd performed at The Marquee Club in Wardour Street, London, England. This was the show where Peter Jenner saw Pink Floyd playing live for the first time. The band went on to sign a management contract with Peter Jenner and Andrew King on October 31 of that same year.

1967: Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits album peaked at the No.10 spot on the US chart. The photograph of the album cover was taken by Rowland Scherman during a concert by Bob Dylan in Washington, D.C on November 28, 1965. The cover won the 1967 Grammy award for Best Album Cover Photography.

1970: David Bowie released 'Memory of a Free Festival', a single that featured guitarist Mick Ronson and drummer Mick Woodmansey's studio debut with Bowie's band. They would soon record The Man Who Sold the World. The song also featured Marc Bolan on lead guitar and backing vocals.
1984: British pop musician, Howard Jones, released Human's Lib in the US, his debut album. It has been certified 2× Platinum by the BPI for selling over 600,000 copies, and also went Gold in many European countries, as well as the US.

2012: Rush released Clockwork Angels in the US and Canada, their 20th studio album which was a concept album. On this album, Neil Peart used a new method in which producer Nick Raskulinecz "conducts" Peart's drumming during recordings.
