The Zombies are an English rock band that was formed in St Albans in 1962. The group is led by Rod Argent (keyboard, vocals) and Colin Blunstone (vocals).
They scored British and American hits with the singles "She's Not There," "Tell Her No" and "Time of the Season."
The interesting thing is that their song "Time of the Season" never charted in the UK, although it is widely known there. "Time of the Season" was the No.1 hit in most countries worldwide, but it was not in the UK.
The song had been released three times in the UK, and it's never been a hit there. Everybody knows the song in the UK, everybody sang it, it was a real classic, but still, never became a No.1 hit in the UK.
The group's 1968 album Odessey and Oracle is ranked number 100 on the list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time by Rolling Stone, and in 2019, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
