Mötley Crüe is an American hard rock band formed that was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, California. The band consists of Vince Neil (lead vocals), Mick Mars (lead guitar), Nikki Sixx (bass guitar) and Tommy Lee (drums).
Here are a few interesting facts about Mötley Crüe:
1. Mötley Crüe's concerts are extremely loud, that after one of the band's shows, a fan sued them after suffering hearing loss. The case was eventually thrown out in 1997, as the judge ruled that the fan knew the risks and that the show would be loud.
2. The drug addiction in the band was so bad that at one point, they were actually mainlining (injecting into the vein) tequila while on tour.
3. Nikki Sixx was pronounced clinically dead after suffering a drug overdose in 1987. However, it did not stop him from doing more drugs the next day, but over the next few years, he and the other band members went sober.
To this day, Mötley Crüe has sold over 100 million records all over the world, including 25 million albums in the US, which makes them one of the best-selling bands of all time.

The song "Girls, Girls, Girls" by Motley Crue is a tribute song to strip clubs, with seven of them being mentioned in the song.
Lead singer of Motley Crue, Vince Neil, has a tattoo that says "Girls, Girls, Girls." For a while, he even owned a strip club in Japan that was also called "Girls, Girls, Girls."
