Katy Perry (real name: Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson) is an American singer, songwriter, and television personality.
Katy Perry was born Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, but changed her surname to "Perry," her mother Mary's maiden name, in order to avoid confusion with the actress, Kate Hudson.
