Colter Wall is a Canadian singer and songwriter from Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Wall's self-titled debut album was released on May 12, 2017.
Colter Wall decided to start trying writing and singing songs when he was 16 years old. Prior to songwriting, Wall was focused on jamming on the guitar since age 13, mimicking artists like: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and AC/DC.
Colter Wall was raised a Christian and going to church in a small town had a lot of influence on his songwriting. Even the legendary music producer Rick Rubin addressed to Wall's songs, saying that he sings and writes songs in ways seemingly lost in time.
