Isaak said that his boxing pals had an affectionate nickname for him, because when he started off, Chris thought that he looked a little like Elvis Presley when he combed his hair back. So, when he was boxing, everybody who was on his boxing team, called him Elvis.
Chris Isaak recorded a total of 12 studio albums, and has won various awards during his music career. He also has been called the Roy Orbison of the 1990s, and at times is compared to Ricky Nelson, Duane Eddy and of course, Elvis Presley.

The song "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak is a tale of obsessive love. Chris wrote this song really late at night and it was written in a short time, because a girl had called him and wanted to come over and be with him for the night.
Chris agreed, but knew that this girl would be trouble or would even kill him, and this is how the song "Wicked Game" came to his mind. Chris kept thinking about the girl and the song, and by the time the girl came over to his house, he had already finished writing the song.
At the end, Chris was more excited about the song than the girl that night.
