Bryan Adams, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist, photographer, record producer, philanthropist and activist.
Bryan Adams rose to fame in Canada and the US with the album Cuts Like a Knife from 1983 and became a global star with the album Reckless from 1984. This album produced some of his best and most popular songs like: "Summer of '69" and "Run to You."
Bryan Adams released the single "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" from his 1991 album, Waking Up the Neighbours, and this song became a huge hit all over the world, reaching the No. 1 spot in many countries, including holding the spot for 16 consecutive weeks in the UK, which was a new record.
So, how did Bryan Adams reach all this fame and fortune? When he was 16 years old, Adams quit school in order to make music. When he was 17, he became the lead singer of Vancouver rock group, Sweeney Todd.
Adams said, that in his childhood he was aimless, until he discovered music. After that moment, he would lock the bedroom door, play records and learn the guitar. Music it seems, became his whole life.
In 2011, Bryan Adams was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 1998 into Canada's Walk of Fame and Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame. In 2006, Adams was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at Canada's Juno Awards.
It is estimated that Bryan Adams has sold over 75 million records worldwide, which makes him one of the world's best-selling music artists.
