Ariana Grande (real name: Ariana Grande-Butera) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Grande began her career in 2008 when she appeared om the Broadway musical 13, and then played the role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious from 2010 to 2013 and in the spinoff Sam & Cat from 2013 to 2014.
Her music career began in 2011 with the soundtrack Music from Victorious, and since then, she has earned 3 No.1 albums on the US Billboard 200 with Yours Truly from 2013, My Everything from 2014 and Sweetener from 2018.

1. Her name 'Ariana' was inspired by princess Oriana from the 1988 animated moive, Felix The Cat.
2. Ariana is a vegan and also allergic to cats and bananas.
3. Her song "Problem" reached the No.1 spot on the iTunes singles chart in just 37 minutes after release, the fastest ever.
4. Ariana's first single, "The Way", topped the iTunes chart within 7 hours after being released.
So far, Ariana Grande has won 3 American Music Awards, 3 MTV Europe Music Awards, 2 MTV Video Music Awards and was nominated 6 times for the Grammy Award. Also, all 4 of her albums have been certified platinum by the RIAA.
