One of the band's most famous and successful songs in 'I Ran (So Far Away)' and this song is also the subject of our interesting fact of the day. The song is actually a a concept piece about an alien invasion of Earth.

'I Ran (So Far Away)' describes a person who sees an attractive female, he then becomes anxious and wants to run away from his feelings, but can't forget her. At the end, they are both abducted by the aliens. The song was the band's biggest hit in the U.S.

The song "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)" by a Flock of Seagulls is about a real person. Mike Score, the band's frontman said that it was the eve of the first trip the band ever took to America, and he had met a girl.

They went out for the night, and he didn't want to forget her, so he said that they are going on tour and he'll be back, but he would like to get a photograph of her.

She said no and refused, because he's going to go on to be famous and eventually he'll forget her.
